3rd Kid’s Book Complete!

I’m pleased to announce the completion of my 3rd children’s book entitled Behind the Door!

Behind the Door shows kid’s how to build courage when faced with new challenges.

Set to the backdrop of learning to ride a bicycle, Behind the Door shows how new experiences, while challenging always lead to something fun and lead to a great next opportunity.

The images in Behind the Door are truly phenomenal—my illustrator (Donut) is highly complimented for capturing the idea of the book and amplifying it with his rich imagination.

Enjoy a complimentary copy at this link.

It is a 43 MB file so expect some time to download it. You can view excerpts of my other kids books (Raindrops and A Walk on the Beach) at this link.

Enjoy!

The Heart of the Bible

THE HEART OF THE BIBLE

A key message of Centerpath is all things have a center—atoms, cells, solar systems, societies, and apparently the Bible.

Check out the following wonderful facts related to the structure of the bible and one of its central themes.
—————————————————-
The Center Psalm – Psalm 118

When measured by chapter count, the center of the Bible is Psalms 118. Here are some other fun facts surrounding Psalm 118:

• The longest chapter of the Bible falls just after this center chapter– Psalm 119.
• The shortest chapter of the Bible falls just after this center chapter– Psalm 117.
• There are exactly 594 chapters before Psalm 118, and exactly 594 chapters after it.  When you add the number of chapters before Psalms 118 and those after, the sum is 1,118. And the verse at the very center of the Bible is Psalms 118:8.

The Center Verse

Psalm 118 – “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
Psalm 118:8 – “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.”

This central verse of the Bible reminds believers to ask the question, “Are you centered in your trust in God?” It is a particular verse that reminds Christians to trust in God over trusting in themselves or others.

As Christians understand, God consistently provides for us and His grace is given to us freely. Even in the most difficult times, we should center ourselves by trusting in God. He is there making us strong, giving us joy, and carrying us when life weighs heavily on us.

Heart of the Universe

Jin’s book “Heart of the Universe”, finds a neat, similar conclusion—that the center of the universe includes a Great Creator. As Jin puts it;

“An all-perfect supra-being at the heart of the universe radiating love and purity throughout our wonderfully arranged, near-perfect cosmos? The heart and soul of the Great Creator radiating through the core of all beings creating a perfect kind of harmony between heaven and earth.”

Centerpath 101 – Centers Unite Larger Things

As Centerpath teaches, an essential function of centers is to unite hosts of ‘things’ into larger, cohesive organizations.

This phenomenon is especially evident in large-scale human groupings where a single, central symbol can serve to unite 100’s of millions of people.

Nowhere is this more apparent than at the entrance to the Forbidden City at the heart of Beijing where a huge portrait of Mao resides (see image below).

While standing there viewing the portrait, you can almost feel the hearts of 1.4 billion people come together as one—united in the shared image of their iconic leader at the core of their collective psyche.

A powerful experience made even more meaningful, through a basic knowledge of Centerpath!

If you want to learn more about how centers unite all sorts of things (including flocks, families, teams, corporations, armies, nations, and your life) you’ll need to spend some time with Centerpath.

Centerpath Presentation – 3rd Annual Conference on Spirituality and Psychology

I was honored to speak at the 3rd Annual Conference on Spirituality and Psychology in Bangkok on 14-Mar-18. My presentation was entitled. “Centerpath, A New Metaphysical Description of Being”.

A wide cross-section of international experts in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, holistic medicine, religion, and spiritualism were in attendance.

It was rare treat to sit amongst a group of such talented, open minded, intellectual, and spiritually charged professionals.

I learned a great many new insights. Not only, the highly interactive Q&A following my presentation let me know the ideas of Centerpath resonate with a wide range of professions which is always a satisfying experience.

A great day for spirituality and for Centerpath!

You Can to Anything…if You Try!

We’ve  told ourselves we can’t do it a thousand times!

The reasons are many–I don’t know how, I don’t have the time, I don’t have the natural talent, everything has already been done, there’s nothing new under the sun, etc. etc.

But guess what you can…that is if you try.

Make the time! Dare to dream again! Take the leap by simply doing something you always wanted to do. Your passion or love.

You can do anything…you just need to trust yourself and take one step forward.
