New Kid’s Book – Raindrops

All,

I’m excited to announce the completion of my second children’s book entitled “Raindrops”!

Raindrops is fun and unique. It examines the parallels between the human life cycle and the atmosphere’s water-vapor cycle.

Set against the backdrop of flowing down the river of life, Raindrops examines the changes, delights, and challenges we experience as we traverse life’s wonderful journey.

Like my other kid’s book “A Walk on the Beach”, you can view excerpts of Raindrops at this following link.

Fun stuff!

Find Meaning…Through the Heart of All Things

Through understanding this essential quality of being you can learn untold wisdoms, and naturally uplift and enhance your experience of life.
If you like this E-card, please forward to family and friends so that they can also glean this vital wisdom.

How to Build a Nuclear Family

There’s deeper meaning to the phrase ‘nuclear family’ than most expect. For not only does the term accurately describe the shape of families—i.e. children circling about their parents, we’re also able to glean a host of additional insights to family dynamics through an atom’s internal relationships.

Take for instance what nucleons at the heart of an atom tell us about the relationship of husband and wife at the core of a family. In this instance ‘man and woman’ come together in powerful bonds of love (whose mighty bond is reflected in the contract and social expectations of marriage), not much unlike the incredible forces that bind protons and neutrons at the center of an atom.

And like the incredible nuclear force that bonds protons and neutrons, the bond of love is very powerful keeping us aligned, yearning, and drawn towards one another. So strong in fact, that breaking the bonds of marriage through a divorce can feel as volatile as the feiry released when atoms are split in a nuclear blast!

Further insights toward bolstering one’s marriage comes from the incredible spatial relationship between neutrons and protons at the core of atoms. Here the nuclear force serves to maintain neutrons and protons at exactly the ‘right’ distance apart—repulsing them if they get too close together and likewise, attracting them if they get too far apart.

This phenomena exactly reflects the sentiments of the lyrics “hold on loosely, but never let go. If you cling too tightly, you’ll lose control” which describes balanced relationships as maintaining just the right ‘distance’. An illuminating atomic parallel for those wishing to keep their relationship in check!

A great example of center dynamics organizing nature and man in the same ways!

Celebrate in the City

The following excerpt is from a recent interview with Jin on methods city dwellers can use to get closer to nature.

Question: For those living in the city with high rises and very little open space, they can feel very disconnected from nature. What are some of the ways city dwellers can reconnect with nature?

Jin’s Reply: To reconnect with nature, you need to get closer to nature. Thus you’ll need to find pockets of nature in the city in which you live.

The best place to start is looking for trails and parks within the city. Check maps and do internet searches to find parks and trails—you might be surprised how many you find. If none exist in the city, look for some just outside the city or start a project within your city to clean up an area or start a park.

Even if you can’t find any parks near your house, seek out trees that line city streets. Spend time examining their forms and interrelationships since they possess most of nature’s wisdoms. All trees possess the qualities of fractals, symmetry, and returning to the source so let their wisdom educate and enthrall.

Because so many great artists derived their inspiration from nature, go to art museums as well. Seeing great artists express their awe of nature is also uplifting and another means to build an appreciation of nature.

Man’s creations of stores, buildings, roads and institutions reflect nature’s patterns. Studying how things are city structures are organized provides an interesting insight into man’s world, but also a nice reminder how closely we are connected with nature. To jumpstart your appreciation of this, check out my book Encyclopedia Centerpath.

The Power of Journal Writing

If you want to write a book, movie, or poetry; you need to start keeping a journal. Without a journal; you cannot make significant or meaningful progress toward your goal. It will only remain an idea and never crystallize into a real work.

The following passage from my book Awaken succinctly explains the necessity, and power of keeping a journal;

There’s no better way to build a new dialogue with the world—and yourself—than keeping a journal.

Think of your journal as a forest floor. As you write things down, you plant seeds of thought that grow into larger ideas. A journal becomes the living tissue from which ideas can interconnect, overlap, and resonate. Like roots spreading in all directions, your ideas become more robust and more widely considered. They can also bifurcate in new and unexpected directions, or at other times, joining with the roots of other trees to merge and cross pollinate into something entirely new.

So, start a journal today and let it help you better discover your world, develop a wider dialogue, interconnect things, and become more aware.

Thus, get notepad and pen today. Write down what you’re thinking –observations of life, yourself, and others. Nuances, insights, and what’s at the edge of your thoughts.

After months (and later years) you will be surprised with what you will have produced…and how much closer you will be toward your dream.

The Birth of i Citizen

I’ve got exciting news… my new i Citizen website launched today on summer solstice 2016!

i-Citizen forms the final piece of my overall Centerpath formulization—the action-oriented side of Centerpath—showing ‘citizens’ practical means of putting nature’s wisdoms to work in their day-to-day lives but also how to optimally structure an entire society.

I encourage you to check it out! Some neat sites you might enjoy include;

Also—sign up early to receive an entry level citizenship number.

Thanks,

Dialogue with the Universe – How to be Happy

Be happy!

How?

Follow Your Heart!

How?

Listen to your inner voice, it has all the wisdom you’ll ever need.

How?

Stop thinking you know everything!

How?

Have faith in your natural intuition versus simply accepting society’s definition of what is important and right.

How?

Slow your life. Walk in nature. Surround yourself with high art. Reflect more.

How?

Get away from your television and I-device. Don’t believe in what you’ve been told. Accept that you don’t know everything and need to open your mind to other possibilities.

How?

Write out your new direction (by hand) on a piece of paper.

How?

Sit down at a table. Get a piece of paper and a pen. Write.

How?

Say to yourself you will make and take the time today.

How?

Read this message again and again until you take action—and take the first step toward being happy.

Time Stand Still

Once a day take the time to make time stand still. Whatever you’re doing take the time to stop, look, and listen to a friend, spouse, a child, a flower, a sunset–the magic of being. These form the little moments of bliss that precipitate in the space-time of our being, and last throughout eternity.
