The Heart of the Bible

THE HEART OF THE BIBLE

A key message of Centerpath is all things have a center—atoms, cells, solar systems, societies, and apparently the Bible.

Check out the following wonderful facts related to the structure of the bible and one of its central themes.

The Center Psalm – Psalm 118

When measured by chapter count, the center of the Bible is Psalms 118. Here are some other fun facts surrounding Psalm 118:

• The longest chapter of the Bible falls just after this center chapter– Psalm 119.
• The shortest chapter of the Bible falls just after this center chapter– Psalm 117.
• There are exactly 594 chapters before Psalm 118, and exactly 594 chapters after it.  When you add the number of chapters before Psalms 118 and those after, the sum is 1,118. And the verse at the very center of the Bible is Psalms 118:8.

The Center Verse

Psalm 118 – “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
Psalm 118:8 – “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.”

This central verse of the Bible reminds believers to ask the question, “Are you centered in your trust in God?” It is a particular verse that reminds Christians to trust in God over trusting in themselves or others.

As Christians understand, God consistently provides for us and His grace is given to us freely. Even in the most difficult times, we should center ourselves by trusting in God. He is there making us strong, giving us joy, and carrying us when life weighs heavily on us.

Heart of the Universe

Jin’s book “Heart of the Universe”, finds a neat, similar conclusion—that the center of the universe includes a Great Creator. As Jin puts it;

“An all-perfect supra-being at the heart of the universe radiating love and purity throughout our wonderfully arranged, near-perfect cosmos? The heart and soul of the Great Creator radiating through the core of all beings creating a perfect kind of harmony between heaven and earth.”

Centerpath 101 – Centers Unite Larger Things

As Centerpath teaches, an essential function of centers is to unite hosts of ‘things’ into larger, cohesive organizations.

This phenomenon is especially evident in large-scale human groupings where a single, central symbol can serve to unite 100’s of millions of people.

Nowhere is this more apparent than at the entrance to the Forbidden City at the heart of Beijing where a huge portrait of Mao resides (see image below).

While standing there viewing the portrait, you can almost feel the hearts of 1.4 billion people come together as one—united in the shared image of their iconic leader at the core of their collective psyche.

A powerful experience made even more meaningful, through a basic knowledge of Centerpath!

If you want to learn more about how centers unite all sorts of things (including flocks, families, teams, corporations, armies, nations, and your life) you’ll need to spend some time with Centerpath.

Feeling Grateful to a Great Universe

We should feel grateful. Thankful for the order, harmony, and beauty streaming throughout the universe!

In the brilliant radiance of flowers, rainbows and sunsets, sparkling glaciers, temples, and infinite stars on a moonless night.

In all the billions of miracles occurring simultaneously in our bodies every moment.

In crystals, a mother’s patience, waterfalls, mountain vistas, Van Gogh’s skies, and the bliss in a child’s face.

God’s smile shining brightly through all her lovely creations!

Jin hosted a Centerpath seminar last Saturday at Aquarius Books in Kansas City Missouri.

A fantastic crowd of spiritual souls joined in a delightful discussion on how nature raises order and harmony—and how we can put her wisdom to work in our lives.

Thanks to Barbara for the great arrangements and to the crowd for their spirited engagement!

New Centerpath Book…Seven Paths to Power!

I’m proud to announce the completion of the sixth book of my Centerpath Master Book Series!

Seven Paths to Power is a major milestone in Centerpath. It takes the ideas of Heart of the Gold to the next level—showing how centers stich together all the aspects of our lives including its points of origin, the importance of today and now, how to choose the best paths in life, and how we can get closer to the Great Creator and the divine.

Check out this excerpt to get a feel for the breadth, excitement, and deeply rich insights of Seven Paths to Power!

How to Save the World? One Heart at a Time!

So many valiant attempts to save the world and our souls. Doctrines, ideas, manifestos, and heartfelt attempts–all ultimately well-intended but none have fully succeeded.

The reasons are many and therein lies the roots of their failure. They glossed over the simple truth there are higher order things in the universe–and they all spring from nature herself.

Balance, symmetry, purity, holism, and collaborative relationships; are the features of nature. As we derive from nature our disposition is the same–we seek higher planes being. It’s just that we’ve been ‘ruined’ by parts of our psyche that seek to gain advantage without consideration for anything else. In this condition we are bound for failure as greed, selfishness, winning, pride, and ignorance take hold and we increasingly become lost at sea.

i-Citizen seeks to reverse today’s red tide by simply instilling goodness, truth, balance, and holism, and collaborative relations back into the heart and soul of men and the its institutions. Redeeming our souls, and simultaneously saving the planet, one beautiful act at a time.

Centerpath History Made!

Centerpath’s first official seminar occurred last Thursday at the Hive in Bangkok. It was a wonderful evening—and what a fantastic crowd of spiritual seers attended!

We discussed how order, beauty, and harmony arise in nature. We discussed how our lives are patterned in the same way as nature—and how through understanding this connection; we’re able to put nature’s wisdom to good work in our lives.

The Centerpath revolution has begun and is gaining momentum–one heart at a time.
